Domestic Airflights into Townsville

Both major domestic airlines each have several services per day ex Brisbane with connections from most capital cities (Qantas 4 per day & Virgin Blue 2 per day).
These are all large modern jet aircraft which seat up to 200 passengers
and flight time is approximately two hours.
Virgin Blue have introduced low fare, daily services ex Brisbane with connections from Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Perth, Canberra and Adelaide.

The smaller, regional airlines provide services from Cairns, Mount Isa, Rockhampton, Mackay and other Queensland regional centres, these usually range from 30 to100 seat aircraft.
