Kareeka (means a quiet restful place) one of the oldest beachfront cottages of Magnetic Island has been restored to the highest standards for the discerning visitor.
It is extremely quiet, situated on a no-through-road laneway and is directly opposite 2 kms. of sandy beach and Nelly Bay’s fringing coral reefs. (This is where the phenomenon of Coral Spawning was first observed).
With polished timber floors throughout, it comprises one queen sized bedroom, sofa/foldout double bed in the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen and a bathroom with an original deep claw-foot bath for total and indulgent soaking.
From the front verandah sip champagne and watch the sun or moon rise over Cleveland Bay, or BBQ on the back patio and share an acre of bush garden.
